Forbes magazine has once again compiled its annual list of Hollywood's top-earning stars, with Hancock star Will Smith topping the list, banking $80 million US last year.
Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp followed close behind with a $72 million haul, but it's the No. 3 spot that's really raising eyebrows. Tied for third place with $55 million each are Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers, despite Myers' recent box office bomb, The Love Guru.
Cameron Diaz leads the race of top-earning film actresses with a $50 million paycheck, followed by Keira Knightley ($32 million) and Jennifer Aniston, who made $27 million in 2007, obliterating Angelina Jolie's $14 million haul. Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow round out the Top 5 with $25 million each.

According to Forbes, the star who offers studios the most bang for their buck is Vince Vaughn. The relatively low-paid actor (he made $14.7 million in 2007) starred in some of the biggest box office hits, including Wedding Crashers and The Break-Up.
